Pride Artist of the Month
This June I was invited as the Pride Artist of the Month at Little Rock Arkansas’s historic Community Bakery. On view are, twenty-two new works of photography, collage, and printmaking both from linoleum and wood block.
This is my second consecutive year exhibiting artwork at Community for a month long on their massive gallery walls. It is no small feat to fill, but damn is it cool! Having the opportunity to show my work publicly the last two years like this has also given me so much insight as to how to scale my art, what people are most drawn to, and most importantly space for my own ideas to develop as I continue making. I also deeply love this truly community spot and am honored to be in sustained partnership with them.
Flashback to April of 2024
My first exhibit at Community Bakery.
Fast forward to June of 2025…
My most recent exhibition at Community Bakery.
This show speak to liberation, connectivity, and childlike wonder. The photographs illuminate a resilient community while the wood and linoleum block prints are carved by spirit led messages that can be both deeply personal and collectively resonant. Blending the ancient with the modern I offer a visual story which connects us to the past, the present, and each other.
“Hope and I” alongside three other originals found their forever homes the night of the Opening Reception!
Here are some deeply cherished memories from that evening. <3
Thank you to everyone who came to see the show this month, celebrated at the opening, or became a collector.
My work will be on view till June 29th. I’m hosting one last opportunity to see this show alongside the artist. Come say farewell to this era at the closing reception on Friday, June 27th from 5-8pm.
