Revival

Rooted in intimate relationships, Patt’s practice explores love and loss, memory and nostalgia, and the quiet, nonlinear processes of grief and revival. Vulnerable and raw, the works expose the underbelly of dysfunctional home life, venomous relationships with a fix- person or substance, and systems of oppression through the lens of a queer woman in the American South. Her pieces perform as reconfigurations of the self, becoming an ongoing negotiation between what is held back and what is revealed.
